Receiving my car
What will happen at the delivery of the car?
gowago.ch offers you 2 ways of getting your car:
- Pick up the car at the garage location: the dealership will show you the car and will take care of signing the last document: the handover protocol. As part of the delivery, a handover protocol needs to be signed, documenting any scratches or damages visible on the vehicle if need be.
- Delivery at the location of your choice: you can choose to get your car home delivered. A transporter will deliver the car to you, and you sign the handover protocol after carefully checking the car with you. If you choose one of our All-in-one packages, delivery is free.
Will the car have all necessities taken care of when I pick it up?
Yes, when you pick up your car it will be ready to be driven immediately, with all of the necessities already taken care of (e.g. licence plates, insurance, etc).
Who orders the car registration plates?
You will be able to provide a preference to your delivery advisor:
- The dealership will take care of ordering your plates. Please note that the process can take up to 10 days, depending on your canton of registration.
- You can choose to register the car at the road traffic office yourself.
Where can I get the car delivered to?
If you choose to get your car delivered, you can choose the delivery location. Please indicate the address of delivery to your advisor.
Can I pickup the car at gowago.ch in Zurich?
The vehicles on our website are located in various locations in Switzerland. Ask your gowago.ch advisor if another pick-up location is possible.
The vehicle can also be delivered to your home free of charge.
Will somebody explain the car specifics to me if I get it home delivered?
If you choose to get the car home delivered you will not receive any explanations about the car specifics. The transporter will handover the car to you and you sign the last documents.
Why do I have to wait in order to get the car?
After signing your leasing contract with Migros Bank, you must wait at least 14 days before the car can be delivered whilst the car and financing is prepared. You have the right to terminate the leasing contract within those first 14 days.
