Breakdown and roadside assistance

Return travel for all occupants by public transport to the policyholder’s place of residence, if the vehicle cannot be repaired on the same day (in Switzerland), or within five days (abroad), based on expert opinion. If the return travel is by taxi or hire car because public transport is not available, up to CHF 300 will be refunded.

Overnight accommodation is covered if the return trip is no longer possible on the same day (in Switzerland) or the vehicle can be repaired within five days (abroad), up to CHF 120 per occupant per night with a combined maximum of CHF 1,200.

You can hire a car in the same category for a period of up to eight days in order to continue the journey (instead of the return travel costs) in the case of events occurring abroad, provided the vehicle cannot be repaired within five days according to expert opinion. The benefits are limited to CHF 150 per day up to a maximum total of CHF 1,200.

Roadside assistance and towing to a suitable nearby garage is included in Switzerland and limited to CHF 500 when you are abroad.

gowago.ch full-casco insurance provided with All-in-one consists of multiple parts and has different deductibles:

  • 3rd party liability insurance (H1) with CHF 0 (CHF 1000 for drivers under 25 years of age) self coverage. Legal liability for personal injury and property damage caused by the insured vehicle.

  • Partial coverage (TK1) with deductible CHF 300 (CHF 0 in case of repair in a partner workshop). Damage to the insured vehicle caused by fire, natural hazards, malicious damage, painting and spraying, glass breakage, marten bites, collision with animals, theft, earthquakes or volcanic eruptions.

  • Collision insurance (KK1) with deductible CHF 500 (CHF 200 for repairs in a partner workshop). Damage caused by collision and scratching the vehicle.
